How Much Does an AI Agent for Your Business Cost: Vibecode, Partner Build or Custom

The cost of an AI agent on Bitrix24 depends on four things: the Vibe+ platform subscription, the Vibe credits your agent consumes each month, the hours a partner spends building and testing it, and the ongoing support after launch. This article breaks all four down with real numbers so you can budget before you commit.

Every channel ends up in one portal

The cost of an AI agent is often compared to the cost of a renovation - the range is wide and the difference is driven by real factors: the state of your data, the number of scenarios, any integrations outside Bitrix24, and who maintains the agent after launch.

Chatbot, App or AI Agent: Which One Do You Actually Need?

An AI agent understands free-form requests, decides which steps to take, and reads live data from your CRM - a chatbot follows a script and breaks when the question goes off-script, while a Vibecode app executes a fixed task (a form, a calculator, a daily summary) triggered on a schedule.

Choosing the wrong tool inflates the budget. Before scoping hours, match your need to the right category:

Parameter Chatbot Vibecode App AI Agent (Hermes)
Understands free-form text No No Yes
Follows a fixed script Yes Partly No
Reads Bitrix24 data Limited Via API Within user permissions
Needs a knowledge base No No Yes - for its domain
Can initiate actions No Yes (on trigger) Yes, on request

The agent acts with exactly the same data-access rights as the Bitrix24 user it runs under. Payments, document signing and data deletion always require a human confirmation - the agent cannot make those decisions independently.

The most common agent types requested, based on our project experience:

  • Policy and knowledge-base assistant - employees ask questions in chat ("how do I file a leave request?") and get answers drawn from uploaded PDFs, DOCX files and text documents, without bothering HR.
  • CRM card helper - reads deal history, call logs and card fields, then drafts a commercial proposal or highlights unanswered client questions for the sales rep.
  • Front-line chat agent - answers customers in connected messaging channels from the company knowledge base and hands off to a human when a question falls outside its scope.
  • Document Q&A agent - answers questions about uploaded contracts, specifications or technical descriptions (PDF, DOCX, TXT, MD).
  • Morning report analyst - on demand: "what is overdue?", "what happened in deals this week?" Reads tasks, chats and calendar events and returns a structured answer.

What Does the Bitrix24 Platform Cost for Running an AI Agent?

To build and run any AI agent on Bitrix24 using Alaio Vibecode, you need a Vibe+ plan - the Essentials plans do not include Vibecode, unlimited REST API or the MCP server. As of 5 October 2026, the launch-offer annual price for Standard Vibe+ is $1,433 per year for up to 50 users.

Since 1 September 2026, every Bitrix24 plan comes in two versions: Essentials and Vibe+. Vibe+ is the tier that unlocks:

  • Alaio Vibecode app builder (building is included; running the app uses Vibe credits)
  • Unlimited REST API and Market apps
  • MCP server for external AI tool connections
  • Extended or unlimited AI usage depending on tier

Annual Vibe+ prices (launch offer active until 10 December 2026, official pricing page):

Plan Users Annual price (launch offer)
Basic Vibe+ 5 $705/year
Standard Vibe+ 50 $1,433/year
Professional Vibe+ 100 $2,873/year
Enterprise Vibe+ 250 250 $5,753/year

The launch offer gives a discount of up to 40% on a 12-month Vibe+ plan, calculated against the monthly price; the regular annual Vibe+ price is not published. Renewals will be billed at regular prices, which are not yet published. A free 15-day Vibe+ demo is available to evaluate before buying.

If your team already has a paid Bitrix24 plan, you can move to the equivalent Vibe+ tier. Tax may apply depending on your billing country and shows at checkout.

For a full breakdown of what each plan includes, see Bitrix24 Vibe+ Plans: What You Get and Is It Worth It (2026).

Vibe Credits: How Consumption Works and What It Costs

Vibe credits are the consumption currency for running AI agents on Alaio Vibecode: as of 5 October 2026, 1 credit equals $1, and you are charged only for server time, paid AI models and AI web search - building the app and making API calls to Bitrix24 are free.

Credits are charged for:

  • Black Hole server compute time (24 to 202 credits per month while actively running, roughly ten times cheaper in sleep mode)
  • Paid built-in AI models
  • AI web search (from 0.02 credits per request)

Credits are not charged for:

  • Building or updating apps through an AI coding agent
  • API requests to Bitrix24
  • Free built-in AI models (BitrixGPT 5.5, BitrixGPT 5.5 Thinking, BitrixGPT 5.5 Agent, GPT-OSS 120B, Gemma 4 26B - all free via the Vibe API)
  • Using your own OpenAI or Anthropic API key

Official consumption examples (Bitrix24 helpdesk, 25 Sep 2026):

Agent type Estimated monthly credits Annual credits
Simple morning-summary bot ~3 ~36
Estimate calculator (200 calculations/month) ~12-18 ~144-216
AI assistant (50 incoming messages/day) ~115 ~1,380

Credit packages available: Starter 20, Team 50, Pro 100 credits. Credits are valid for 365 days. New Bitrix24 accounts receive a 10-credit welcome bonus plus 14 days of trial access. If credits run out, servers pause but apps are saved; after 33 days at zero balance, servers are deleted.

If you use free built-in models (BitrixGPT 5.5 and the other free options), your only running cost is server compute. If you prefer a specific model from OpenAI or Anthropic, you supply your own API key and pay the provider directly - Bitrix24 does not mark that up.

How Much Does It Cost to Build the Agent?

The build cost depends on whether you self-build using Alaio Vibecode's AI coding tools, hire a partner to configure a standard scenario, or commission a fully custom solution with external integrations - effort ranges from a few hours to several weeks.

Three build paths:

Self-build with Alaio Vibecode

The platform supports Claude Code, Codex and Cursor as AI coding tools (each has its own subscription). You describe the task in plain language, the coding agent reads the Vibecode API docs (1,400+ REST methods, llms.txt, per-section markdown docs, OpenAPI) and writes the code. The server deploys in 1-2 minutes. About 40 ready-made scenario templates are available at vibecode.bitrix24.com/solutions, including AI Lead Classifier, Daily CRM Digest, Duplicate Cleanup, HR Policy Bot and Call Analytics.

The official documentation notes that Alaio Vibecode "works best for quick internal apps, idea testing, and tools that solve immediate team needs" and "does not replace development for every task." Self-build is fastest when you have a single, well-defined scenario and your knowledge base is already in usable text format.

Partner-configured scenario

A Bitrix24 partner handles discovery, system instruction writing, knowledge base preparation, testing and handover. Based on our project experience, the main time cost is data preparation and testing iterations, not the technical assembly.

As a concrete reference point: ACP Group's AI Call Analysis service - conversation intelligence that transcribes calls, scores quality and surfaces coaching signals inside Bitrix24 - is priced at $3,000 with a 4-week delivery timeline (acp-24.com/ai-call-analysis-bitrix24). This is a structured, tested product with defined scope. A custom agent project is scoped and priced per scenario.

Custom build with external integrations

If the agent needs data from systems outside Bitrix24 - an ERP, a warehouse platform or a third-party CRM - the project includes integration work via REST API or MCP protocol. This adds meaningful effort to the scope. Scoping is always done after the discovery session.

The five stages of a typical partner-led build:

A discovery session feeds into knowledge base preparation, then agent assembly, then testing on real questions, then launch and support.

Based on project experience, most of the project effort goes into data preparation and testing, not the technical setup of the agent itself.

Three Scenario Budgets with Explicit Arithmetic

Three illustrative budgets - self-built simple bot, partner-built single-scenario agent, and custom multi-scenario solution - show how platform, credits and build effort combine into a first-year total. See the table below for the amounts.

These scenarios use verified prices as of 5 October 2026. Build hours for partner work are directional estimates based on project experience; your actual scope will be defined in discovery. For partner-build costs, contact acp-24.com for a quote.

Scenario Platform (annual) Credits (annual) Build effort Support
A: Self-built morning summary bot Standard Vibe+ $1,433 ~36 credits (~$36) Your own time + AI coding tool subscription Minimal - owner updates knowledge base
B: Partner-built single-scenario HR policy agent Standard Vibe+ $1,433 Not in the official examples; the closest one (estimate calculator) is ~144-216 credits (~$144-216) a year Partner hours for discovery, build, testing (scope drives cost - ask for proposal) Recommend ongoing support contract
C: Custom AI call analysis with CRM integration Professional Vibe+ $2,873 Usage-based; the official example of an AI assistant handling 50 messages a day is ~115 credits a month (~1,380 a year, ~$1,380) Fixed-scope product example: $3,000 / 4 weeks (AI Call Analysis) Monitoring, knowledge refresh, prompt updates

Scenario A arithmetic (year 1): $1,433 (Standard Vibe+) + $36 (credits) + AI coding tool subscription cost = platform total under $1,500 before your own time and the coding tool.

Scenario C arithmetic (year 1): $2,873 (Professional Vibe+) + $1,380 (credits, if usage matches the official 50-messages-a-day assistant example) + $3,000 (build) = roughly $7,253 in the first year for a production-grade call analysis solution. Year 2 drops the build cost; platform renewal price is not yet published (it moves to regular Vibe+ pricing after the launch offer ends).

At small team sizes, a cloud Essentials plan is often cheaper than Vibe+ if you only need standard CRM and automation - the argument for Vibe+ is the ability to run custom agents, not cost savings on the base CRM.

What You Must Provide Before Work Starts

Projects move faster and cost less when the client arrives prepared. The single biggest time driver is the state of the knowledge base - structured, readable documents cut data-preparation effort significantly.

Client checklist:

  • A described process with clear scope. The agent must do something specific, not "everything about the company." The tighter the boundary, the more accurate the scenario.
  • Documents in readable text format. DOCX, TXT, MD, PDF with recognised text. Handwritten scans, password-protected files and formula-heavy spreadsheets are not workable.
  • 20-30 real questions with reference answers. Pull these from actual chat logs or support tickets, not invented examples. These are used to measure agent quality objectively.
  • Portal access and a designated decision-maker. An admin or senior user who can approve changes promptly.
  • Acceptance criteria. Define what "working" means before work starts - for example: "the agent answers nine out of ten test questions correctly without inventing data." The threshold depends on how costly an error is in your scenario.
  • Expert time for answer review during testing. Someone who knows the correct answers and can evaluate quality during test iterations.
  • A named agent owner post-launch. The person who updates the knowledge base when policies change.

If knowledge lives only in people's heads, those interviews and the write-up are the client's work - a partner can help organise the process, but cannot do it for you.

Five Client Mistakes That Make the Project Cost More

The five most common client-side errors that extend timelines and inflate budgets are: no documented process, knowledge only in employees' heads, no single responsible person, no acceptance criteria, and a brief that simply says "we want AI."

  1. No documented process. "We want an agent that answers staff questions" is not a scenario. Without a clear process description, the partner spends the first phase just formalising the task - at your cost.

  2. Knowledge only in heads. If the only source of truth is a senior employee who "knows everything," the project starts with a series of interviews and a write-up. That is the client's work, not the agent's.

  3. No single responsible person. A project where "everyone is responsible for AI" usually means no one is. Without a named owner, approvals drag, access credentials arrive late, and the agent goes stale after launch.

  4. No acceptance criteria. Without a clear definition of done, a project does not finish - it iterates indefinitely. Fix the criteria before work starts: what percentage of test questions must be answered correctly, which topics are in scope.

  5. A brief that just says "make us AI." This is the most expensive formulation. The partner spends a significant share of the budget discovering what is actually needed. Start with three concrete questions: what should the agent do? Who uses it? Where does it get its information?

Based on project experience, overly broad system instructions and contradictory or outdated source documents are the most common causes of agents that "hallucinate" or give incorrect answers after launch. Iterative refinement of the instruction and knowledge base is a normal part of the build - not a sign that something went wrong.

What You Own After Launch and What Keeps Costing Money

After handover, the agent runs inside your Bitrix24 on a Black Hole server that is not publicly reachable from the internet - your portal administrator can update the system instruction and knowledge base without touching the underlying code.

What is included after launch:

  • The agent lives inside your Bitrix24 account; you are not dependent on external hosting.
  • The portal administrator can update the instruction, add documents and adjust the agent's scope.
  • Regular employees see only the chat interface and have no access to agent settings.
  • Every change is logged by the platform.

What keeps costing money:

  • Vibe+ subscription renewal - at regular prices after the launch offer ends (not yet published; renewals are separate from the launch-offer rate).
  • Vibe credits - monthly server compute and AI model usage.
  • Knowledge base maintenance - when policies change, the documents must be updated. An agent running on outdated data will give outdated answers.
  • Ongoing support - monitoring response quality, refining prompts, expanding scenarios. This is a separate budget line and worth planning before launch.

Self-hosted Bitrix24 can also be connected to the Alaio Vibecode platform. If your organisation has data-residency requirements, see Where Bitrix24 AI processes your data and how to stay compliant before scoping the agent.

Questions we get asked

FAQ: AI Agent Cost for Business

Do I need a Vibe+ plan just to try building an AI agent on Bitrix24?

Yes, Alaio Vibecode requires any active Vibe+ plan. However, a free 15-day Vibe+ demo is available so you can test the platform before committing to an annual subscription. New accounts also receive a 10-credit welcome bonus and 14 days of trial access to Vibe credits.

What is the cheapest way to run a simple AI bot on Bitrix24 long-term?

A simple bot such as a morning summary uses roughly 3 Vibe credits per month (about 36 per year), according to official Bitrix24 examples. The main ongoing cost is the Vibe+ subscription. Using free built-in models (BitrixGPT 5.5 and others) eliminates model charges; only server compute is billed in credits.

How long does it take to build an AI agent with a partner?

There is no single standard. Timeline is driven by how ready your documents are and how many scenarios you need. Based on project experience, data preparation and testing iterations take the most time, not the technical assembly. A structured product like AI Call Analysis delivers in 4 weeks; a custom multi-scenario agent takes longer.

Can I build an AI agent myself without programming skills?

Yes - Alaio Vibecode lets you describe tasks in plain language and AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) write and deploy the code. The technical part is accessible; the harder part is writing a precise system instruction, preparing a clean knowledge base and running structured tests. A partner audit before going live is worth considering.

What happens to my agent if I run out of Vibe credits?

The agent's Black Hole server pauses when credits reach zero, but the app and its data are saved. After 33 days at a zero balance, the server is deleted. Topping up credits restores service; server sleep mode (active after 60 minutes of inactivity by default) reduces consumption by roughly ten times compared to continuous running.

Is an AI agent suitable for handling sensitive client data?

The agent reads only what its registered Bitrix24 user is permitted to see. However, requests to the AI model are processed by external providers - for international Bitrix24, CoPilot uses third-party providers such as OpenAI. If you have strict data-residency requirements, define which data the agent can access before scoping the project, and review your compliance position.
